Although Elliot is just a little boy, he has big things to think about. Actually so big that he stays awake when he ought to fall asleep. Elliot has a gold fish… and a plastic tiger and a plastic lion…and he has the best teddy bear who understands him and follows him wherever he goes.
He also has a lot of books. Elliot loves his books. He can’t even read the letters in them, but he can see the pictures, which make him travel far away – to a world, where there might be somebody who can explain why Mom and Dad have decided that the three of them should not live together any more.
