Theatre Yael Rasooly: How Lovely

”How Lovely” is Yael Rasooly’s solo performance of puppet and object theatre.

A childhood memory is relived – through an empty cello case, pieces of broken violins and a human-sized puppet.

But beneath the sweet musical memories, another story emerges. An unbroken circle, a music lesson which takes an unexpected turn and a web of family secrets are the components in this both humorous and frightening piece.

Yael Rasooly has performed previously at Festival of Wonder with great success. At the last festival the theatre performed ‘The House by the Lake’ which has since gotten rave reviews around the world.

You can also enjoy Yael Rasooly as a singer in her ”Gramophone Show” on Saturday evening at 10:00 p.m. at Jysk Musikteater’s café for a concert of evergreens from the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s.
