Quasi Teater: Ebbe Skammelsøn

Ebbe Skammelsøn is a musical modernization of the well-known Danish folk song about unhappy love between a knight and a lady. Great romance, jealousy and bloody clashes, told in a modern and humorous style, with puppets and song.

A story for young and old about revenge, love and the strength of family.

Ebbe cries and the saw screeches. The guitar solo cuts the heart and the harp sheds a tear. Hand puppets take revenge on each other while giant puppets go to a wedding which ends in a blood bath. It is war and love, revenge and sorrow.

Can we learn to forgive Ebbe who does so many wild things?
